Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
We will be closed on Friday March 29th to spend time with our families on Good Friday.
You can pick up applications for building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits as well as zoning, sign for fence permits (where applicable) at our office or print them from this site (look under Documents)

Building Code and Zoning Enforcement
We assist contractors, business owners, and homeowners in the construction process by
processing and issuing permits;
performing building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections;
writing commercial plan reviews; and
providing zoning administration for select communities.
Our jurisdiction falls under several West Michigan communities in Kent, Ottawa, and Muskegon County.
